About SAT
SAT
SAT is an assessment tool designed by members, and available to members of the Michigan Music Teachers Association. This exam is administered annually and available for students K-12th. There are 13 levels and 4 categories in which students need to prepare which are listed below. Students who participate in this event typically do so for several years building self-confidence, self-discipline, and meeting goals. This course of study is well-rounded and develops a comprehensive understanding of music. SAT examinations can be stored in the student’s academic file. Teachers need to be an up-to-date member of MMTA to participate in this event. This event typically takes place in March, has a fee, with a handbook for teachers.
