SAT

SAT is an assessment tool designed by members, and available to members of the Michigan Music Teachers Association. This exam is administered annually and available for students K-12th. There are 13 levels and 4 categories in which students need to prepare which are listed below. Students who participate in this event typically do so for several years building self-confidence, self-discipline, and meeting goals. This course of study is well-rounded and develops a comprehensive understanding of music. SAT examinations can be stored in the student’s academic file. Teachers need to be an up-to-date member of MMTA to participate in this event. This event typically takes place in March, has a fee, with a handbook for teachers. Teachers who participate in this event are required to volunteer. Please contact the SAT chairperson (found on the administration board link) for more information. Visit MMTA for more information.
