We encourage local Piano instructors to join our chapter of the MMTA.

LAPTF is a local chapter of parent organizations Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Michigan Music Teachers Association (MMTA).  

To join online, visit MTNA.org to Join/Renew. Be sure to select “Livonia Area Piano Teachers Forum” in the online form under “local chapters”. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions.

All active members receive a one-year subscription to the American Music Teacher Magazine, online access to the MMTA Student Achievement Testing (SAT) Handbook, and a MMTA State Directory.  For local membership information contact the LAPTF membership chair.  

New LAPTF members will be linked to an experienced mentor who will be available to answer questions and help the new member become acclimated to the group.
